Description: The issue is related to errors in the code of a subcomponent, specifically the India Localization and Results component of Oracle Payables in the Oracle E-Business Suite system. This can be exploited by a remote attacker using HTTP requests, potentially allowing unauthorized access to the device. Successful attacks can result in unauthorized creation, deletion, or modification of critical data, as well as complete access to all accessible data within Oracle Payables.

Recommendations: For versions 12.1.1 through 12.1.3, update to a version outside of this range to mitigate the risk. For versions 12.2.3 through 12.2.10, update to a version outside of this range to mitigate the risk. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the India Localization and Results component of Oracle Payables until a patch is available.
