Description The issue is related to inadequate access control in the Message Display component of Oracle Email Center, part of the Oracle E-Business Suite. This allows a low-privileged attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise Oracle Email Center, potentially impacting additional products. Successful attacks can result in unauthorized access to critical data, complete access to all Oracle Email Center accessible data, as well as unauthorized update, insert, or delete access to some of Oracle Email Center's accessible data.

Recommendations For Oracle Email Center versions 12.1.1 through 12.1.3, update to a version outside of this range to mitigate the risk. For Oracle Email Center versions 12.2.3 through 12.2.10, update to a version outside of this range to mitigate the risk. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the Message Display component until a patch is available.
