Description The issue is related to errors in the code of the Template and GTIN search subcomponents of the Oracle Product Hub component. It allows a low-privileged attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise Oracle Product Hub. Successful attacks can result in unauthorized creation, deletion, or modification access to critical data or all Oracle Product Hub accessible data, as well as unauthorized access to critical data or complete access to all Oracle Product Hub accessible data.

Recommendations For versions 12.1.1 through 12.1.3, update to a version outside of this range to mitigate the risk. For versions 12.2.3 through 12.2.10, update to a version outside of this range to mitigate the risk. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the Template and GTIN search subcomponents of the Oracle Product Hub component until a patch is available.
