Description
The issue is related to the cfg80211 module in the Linux Kernel, specifically with the handling of OCB (Outside the Context of a BSS) mode. When switching away from OCB, the cfg80211 leave ocb function is not called, which may potentially lead to security vulnerabilities. The actual impact and attack plausibility have not yet been proven.
Recommendations
For Linux Kernel versions prior to v4.14.238, update to version v4.14.238 or later to resolve the issue.
