Description
The issue is related to an out-of-bounds bug in the
ngene command config free buf() function. This bug was introduced in version v2.6.34 and is fixed in version v4.4.277. The actual impact and attack plausibility have not yet been proven.Recommendations
For Linux Kernel versions prior to v4.4.277, update to version v4.4.277 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the
