Description
The issue is related to a Buffer Overflow when parsing a specially crafted file, which could allow an unauthenticated attacker to achieve arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. Exploitation requires user interaction, such as opening a malicious file. The vulnerability can be exploited with a specially crafted JSX or PDF file.
Recommendations
For Adobe Photoshop versions 21.2.6 and earlier, update to a version later than 21.2.6 to resolve the issue.
For Adobe Photoshop versions 22.3 and earlier, update to a version later than 22.3 to resolve the issue.
As a temporary workaround, consider avoiding the use of JSX or PDF files from untrusted sources until a patch is available.
