Description
The issue is related to insufficient input validation in the Security component of Oracle PeopleSoft Enterprise PeopleTools. This can be exploited by a remote attacker using the HTTP protocol to gain full control over the application. Successful attacks can result in unauthorized access to critical data, including creation, deletion, or modification of data, as well as read access to a subset of data. Additionally, it can cause the application to hang or crash repeatedly.
Recommendations
For versions 8.56 through 8.58, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue to prevent exploitation.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
