Description The issue is related to insufficient input validation in the Attachments component of Oracle Document Management and Collaboration. It allows a high-privileged attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise the system. Successful attacks can result in unauthorized access to critical data, complete access to all accessible data, as well as unauthorized update, insert, or delete access to some accessible data.

Recommendations For versions 12.1.3, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue. For versions 12.2.3 through 12.2.10, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the Attachments component until a patch is available.
