Description The issue is related to the execution with unnecessary privileges, allowing for privilege escalation as nagios via the installation of a malicious component containing PHP code. This is due to insecure privilege management, which can be exploited by a remote attacker to elevate their privileges by installing a malicious component with PHP code.
Recommendations For Nagios Fusion versions 4.1.8 and earlier, at the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
