Description A vulnerability in the interprocess communication (IPC) channel could allow an authenticated, local attacker to overwrite VPN profiles on an affected device. The issue is due to insufficient validation of user-supplied input. An attacker could exploit this by sending a crafted IPC message to the AnyConnect process, potentially modifying VPN profile files. The attacker must have valid credentials on the affected system to exploit this issue.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
