Description
The issue is related to a buffer overflow in the SSL protocol implementation of the IBM DB2 database management system. This could allow a remote attacker to cause a denial of service due to a hang in the SSL handshake response.
Recommendations
For versions 9.7, 10.1, 10.5, 11.1, and 11.5, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue to prevent a denial of service due to a hang in the SSL handshake response.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
