Critical

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Nagios Fusion versions 4.1.8 and earlier
Description The issue is related to command injection in the cmd subsys.php script, allowing privilege escalation from apache to root. It is caused by insufficient input data sanitization, which can be exploited by a remote attacker to elevate their privileges.
Recommendations For Nagios Fusion versions 4.1.8 and earlier, consider disabling the cmd subsys.php script as a temporary workaround until a patch is available. Restrict access to this script to minimize the risk of exploitation. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
