| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:U/C:L/I:N/A:N |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
OneDev versions 4.4.1 and prior
Description
The issue is related to the LDAP external authentication mechanism in OneDev. If this mechanism is enabled, an attacker can manipulate a user search filter to send forged queries to the application, allowing them to explore the LDAP tree using Blind LDAP Injection techniques. The specific payload depends on how the User Search Filter property is configured in OneDev.
Recommendations
For OneDev versions 4.4.1 and prior, update to version 4.4.2 to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider disabling the LDAP external authentication mechanism until a patch is available. Restrict access to the User Search Filter property to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using the
User Search Filter property in the affected LDAP authentication mechanism until the issue is resolved.Exploit
