Description
The issue is related to an Out-of-bounds Write vulnerability in the CoolType library, which could allow an unauthenticated attacker to achieve arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction, where a victim must open a malicious file. This vulnerability affects Adobe Acrobat and Reader, allowing attackers to execute arbitrary code.
Recommendations
For Adobe Acrobat Reader DC versions 2020.013.20074 and earlier, update to a version later than 2020.013.20074 to resolve the issue.
For Adobe Acrobat Reader DC versions 2020.001.30018 and earlier, update to a version later than 2020.001.30018 to resolve the issue.
