Description The issue is related to the use of uninitialized data in PDFium, a component of Google Chrome. This could allow a remote attacker to obtain potentially sensitive information from process memory via a crafted PDF file. The attacker could exploit this issue to gain access to confidential information or cause a denial of service.
Recommendations For Google Chrome versions prior to 89.0.4389.72, update to version 89.0.4389.72 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider avoiding the use of PDF files from untrusted sources until the update is applied.
