Description
The issue is related to a memory corruption vulnerability when processing media files, allowing an attacker to execute arbitrary code with the help of a specially crafted file. An unauthenticated attacker could leverage this vulnerability to achieve arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction, where a victim must open a malicious file.
Recommendations
For Adobe Premiere Pro versions 15.2 and earlier, update to a version that contains a fix for this issue to prevent arbitrary code execution.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
