Description
The issue is related to a memory corruption vulnerability when processing media files, which can be exploited by an unauthenticated attacker to achieve arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. This requires user interaction, where a victim must open a malicious file. The vulnerability is associated with a buffer overflow in memory when handling specially crafted files.
Recommendations
For Adobe Prelude versions 10.0 and earlier, update to a version that contains a fix for this issue to prevent arbitrary code execution.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
