Description
The issue is caused by an out-of-bounds Write vulnerability when parsing a specially crafted file, potentially allowing an unauthenticated attacker to achieve arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. Exploitation requires user interaction, where a victim must open a malicious file. This can be done through a specially crafted JPG2000 file.
Recommendations
For Adobe After Effects versions 18.2.1 and earlier, update to a version that is not affected by this issue.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
