Description
The issue is caused by a memory corruption vulnerability when parsing a specially crafted file, allowing an unauthenticated attacker to achieve arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. Exploitation requires user interaction, where a victim must open a malicious file.
Recommendations
For Adobe After Effects versions 18.2.1 and earlier, update to a version that contains a fix for this issue to prevent arbitrary code execution.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
