CVE-2021-35991

CVSS v2.0

4.3

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:P/I:N/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Adobe Bridge versions 11.0.2 and earlier
Description The issue is related to insufficient input validation, allowing a remote attacker to redirect users to a malicious webpage. It is also described as an Access of Uninitialized Pointer vulnerability when parsing a specially crafted file, which could allow an unauthenticated attacker to disclose arbitrary memory information in the context of the current user. Exploitation requires user interaction, where a victim must open a malicious file.
Recommendations For Adobe Bridge versions 11.0.2 and earlier, update to a version that addresses the Access of Uninitialized Pointer vulnerability. As a temporary workaround, consider avoiding the use of specially crafted files that could trigger the vulnerability until a patch is available. Restrict access to untrusted files to minimize the risk of exploitation.
