Description The issue is related to the use of memory after it has been freed in the Extensions API component of the browsers. This could allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service by using a specially crafted web page. The exploitation may lead to heap corruption.
Recommendations For Google Chrome versions prior to 93.0.4577.63, update to version 93.0.4577.63 or later to resolve the issue. For Microsoft Edge, at the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
