Description
The issue is caused by a buffer overflow in memory, potentially allowing a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code using a specially crafted media file. This can happen when a user opens a malicious .exr file, which requires user interaction to exploit the vulnerability. The exploitation can result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user.
Recommendations
For Adobe Premiere Pro versions 15.4 and earlier, update to a version that fixes the memory corruption vulnerability to prevent arbitrary code execution.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
