Description
The issue is related to a buffer overflow in memory when parsing DWG files, allowing a maliciously crafted file to write beyond allocated boundaries. This can be exploited to execute arbitrary code in the context of the current user. The vulnerability can be triggered by a specially crafted DWG file.
Recommendations
For Autodesk Navisworks versions 2019 through 2022, update to a version that includes a fix for this issue.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
