Description The issue is related to insufficient authentication mechanisms for endpoints in the Content Library component of VMware vCenter Server. It allows a remote attacker to gain unauthorized access to protected information by sending a specially crafted HTTP request through port 443. A malicious actor with network access to port 443 on vCenter Server may exploit this issue to perform unauthenticated VM network setting manipulation.
Recommendations At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
