CVE-2021-30606

CVSS v2.0

10

High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:C/I:C/A:C
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Google Chrome versions prior to 93.0.4577.63
Description The issue is related to a use after free in Blink, which can be exploited by a remote attacker to impact confidentiality, integrity, and availability. An attacker who convinces a user to drag and drop a malicious folder to a page can potentially perform a sandbox escape via a crafted HTML page.
Recommendations For versions prior to 93.0.4577.63, update to version 93.0.4577.63 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting the use of drag and drop functionality in Google Chrome until a patch is applied. Avoid using crafted HTML pages that can exploit the use after free in Blink until the issue is resolved.
