Description
The issue is related to a Null pointer dereference when parsing a specially crafted file, which can lead to an application denial-of-service in the context of the current user. Exploitation requires user interaction, where a victim must open a malicious file. Additionally, it is described as a buffer overflow vulnerability in memory, which can allow an attacker to cause a denial-of-service.
Recommendations
For Adobe Audition version 14.4 and earlier, at the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
