Description The issue is related to insufficient input data sanitization in the implementation of the runAgentRestarter method in the Ivanti Avalanche mobile device management system. This can be exploited by a remote attacker to execute arbitrary commands by sending specially crafted data. The vulnerability allows an attacker with access to the Inforail Service to perform arbitrary command execution.

Recommendations For versions prior to 6.3.3, update to version 6.3.3 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the Inforail Service to minimize the risk of exploitation.
