Description
The issue is related to an incorrect type conversion of sizes from 64bit to 32bit integers, which can lead to memory corruption and a potentially exploitable crash. This can be exploited by a remote attacker using a specially crafted web page, potentially allowing for arbitrary code execution through a heap-based buffer overflow on the client side.
Recommendations
For Thunderbird versions prior to 91.4.0, update to version 91.4.0 or later.
For Firefox ESR versions prior to 91.4.0, update to version 91.4.0 or later.
For Firefox versions prior to 95, update to version 95 or later.
