| Vector | AV:N/AC:L/PR:L/UI:N/S:C/C:H/I:H/A:H |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Anker Eufy Homebase 2 version 2.1.6.9h
Description
A command execution issue exists in the wifi country code update functionality of the home security binary. This is due to the lack of measures to neutralize special elements used in the operating system command. Exploitation of this issue may allow a remote attacker to execute arbitrary operating system commands by sending specially crafted network packets.
Recommendations
For version 2.1.6.9h, as a temporary workaround, consider disabling the wifi country code update functionality until a patch is available. Restrict access to the home security binary to minimize the risk of exploitation.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
