VectorAV:L/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Adobe Premiere Pro versions 22.0 and earlier Adobe Premiere Pro versions 15.4.2 and earlier
Description The issue is related to an out-of-bounds read vulnerability in Adobe Premiere Pro when parsing 3GP files. This could allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code in the context of the current user by leveraging the vulnerability through a specially crafted malicious file. Exploitation requires user interaction, where a victim must open the malicious file.
Recommendations For Adobe Premiere Pro versions 22.0 and earlier, update to a version later than 22.0 to resolve the issue. For Adobe Premiere Pro versions 15.4.2 and earlier, update to a version later than 15.4.2 to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider avoiding the use of 3GP file parsing in Adobe Premiere Pro until a patch is available.
