Description
The issue is related to an Use-After-Free vulnerability that could lead to disclosure of sensitive memory. An attacker could leverage this vulnerability to bypass mitigations such as ASLR. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must open a malicious file. The vulnerability is associated with the processing of JPEG 2000 (or jp2) graphic files, which may allow an attacker to elevate their privileges.
Recommendations
For Adobe After Effects versions 22.0 (and earlier) and 18.4.2 (and earlier), update to a version that is not affected by this issue.
At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
