CVE-2021-37965

CVSS v2.0

4.3

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:P/I:N/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Google Chrome versions prior to 94.0.4606.54
Description The issue is related to an inappropriate implementation in the Background Fetch API, allowing a remote attacker to leak cross-origin data via a crafted HTML page. This could enable an attacker to gain unauthorized access to protected information.
Recommendations For versions prior to 94.0.4606.54, update to version 94.0.4606.54 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to sensitive data when using the Background Fetch API until the update is applied.
