High

VectorAV:N/AC:L/Au:N/C:C/I:C/A:C
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Fuji Electric V-Server Lite and Tellus Lite V-Simulator versions prior to 4.0.12.0
Description The issue is related to a heap-based buffer overflow in the V-Simulator module when parsing specially crafted project files, which may allow an attacker to execute arbitrary code remotely. This can be achieved by using a specially crafted malicious file or webpage.
Recommendations For versions prior to 4.0.12.0, update to version 4.0.12.0 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the V-Simulator module until a patch is applied. Avoid using the V-Simulator module to parse untrusted project files until the issue is resolved.
