Description The issue is related to a use after free vulnerability in the PDFium PDF content handler of Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge browsers, which can be exploited by a remote attacker using a specially crafted HTML page to bypass existing security restrictions. This can potentially lead to heap corruption.
Recommendations For Google Chrome versions prior to 95.0.4638.54, update to version 95.0.4638.54 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to PDF content in Google Chrome until the update is applied.
