9.3
High
| Vector | AV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:C/I:C/A:C |
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions
Google Chrome versions prior to 95.0.4638.54
Description
The issue is related to a use after free in Profiles, which can potentially lead to heap corruption. A remote attacker could exploit this by convincing a user to engage in specific gestures via a crafted HTML page. The attacker could redirect users to a malicious web page using a specially created HTML page.
Recommendations
For versions prior to 95.0.4638.54, update to version 95.0.4638.54 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to crafted HTML pages to minimize the risk of exploitation. Avoid using specific gestures that could trigger the use after free condition in Profiles until the issue is resolved.
