Description
The issue is related to a Stack-based Buffer Overflow when parsing a specially crafted file, allowing an unauthenticated attacker to achieve arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. Exploitation requires user interaction, where a victim must open a malicious file. This can potentially enable an attacker to execute arbitrary code on the target system using a specially crafted file.
Recommendations
For Adobe After Effects version 18.2 and earlier, at the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
