Description
The issue is caused by a memory corruption vulnerability due to insecure handling of a malicious PNG file, potentially resulting in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. This can be exploited by a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code. User interaction is required to exploit this vulnerability.
Recommendations
For Adobe Premiere Rush versions 1.5.16 and earlier, update to a version later than 1.5.16 to resolve the issue.
As a temporary workaround, consider avoiding the use of PNG files from untrusted sources until a patch is available.
