CVE-2021-30519

CVSS v2.0

9.3

High

VectorAV:N/AC:M/Au:N/C:C/I:C/A:C
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Google Chrome versions prior to 90.0.4430.212
Description The issue is related to a use after free condition in the Payments component of Google Chrome, which can be exploited by an attacker to access sensitive information, compromise data integrity, and potentially cause a denial of service. This can be achieved through a specially crafted HTML page. An attacker who convinces a user to install a malicious payments app may exploit heap corruption.
Recommendations For versions prior to 90.0.4430.212, update to version 90.0.4430.212 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting the installation of payments apps to trusted sources until the update is applied. Avoid using the Payments component with untrusted or malicious apps.
