VectorAV:A/AC:L/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:H/I:H/A:H
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions NETGEAR XR1000 versions prior to 1.0.0.58
Description The issue is related to the use of predefined credentials in the NETGEAR XR1000 Wi-Fi router's firmware. Exploitation of this issue may allow a remote attacker to gain unauthorized access to protected information.
Recommendations For versions prior to 1.0.0.58, update to version 1.0.0.58 or later to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider changing the predefined credentials to strong, unique passwords until a patch is applied.
