Description The issue is related to an inappropriate implementation in the Autofill feature, allowing a remote attacker to bypass navigation restrictions via a crafted HTML page. This is due to a security check being incorrectly implemented for standard elements. The exploitation of this issue can enable a remote attacker to bypass existing security restrictions.
Recommendations For Google Chrome versions prior to 97.0.4692.99, update to version 97.0.4692.99 or later. For Microsoft Edge, at the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
