Description The issue is related to a use-after-free vulnerability, which can be exploited by an unauthenticated attacker to achieve arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. This requires user interaction, where a victim must open a malicious PDF file. The vulnerability allows attackers to execute arbitrary code.
Recommendations For Adobe Acrobat Reader DC versions 2021.001.20155 and earlier, update to a version later than 2021.001.20155 to resolve the issue. For Adobe Acrobat Reader DC versions 2020.001.30025 and earlier, update to a version later than 2020.001.30025 to resolve the issue. For Adobe Acrobat Reader DC versions 2017.011.30196 and earlier, update to a version later than 2017.011.30196 to resolve the issue. For Adobe Acrobat 2017, Adobe Acrobat 2020, Adobe Acrobat Document Cloud, Adobe Acrobat Reader 2017, and Adobe Acrobat Reader 2020, at the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
