Description
The issue is related to insufficient access restrictions in the Windows Encrypting File System (EFS) component, allowing a remote attacker to elevate their privileges. An elevation-of-privilege vulnerability exists, enabling attackers to affect the system. There is evidence of this vulnerability being exploited in real-world attacks, including dropping files on a domain controller.
