CVE-2021-36062

CVSS v3.1

6.1

Medium

VectorAV:N/AC:L/PR:N/UI:R/S:C/C:L/I:L/A:N
Name of the Vulnerable Software and Affected Versions Adobe Connect versions 11.2.2 and earlier
Description The issue is related to the lack of protection of the web page structure in Adobe Connect, which can be exploited by a remote attacker to execute arbitrary code. This can be achieved through a Reflected Cross-site Scripting attack, where an attacker injects malicious scripts into vulnerable form fields. If a victim is convinced to visit a URL referencing a vulnerable page, malicious JavaScript content may be executed within the context of the victim's browser.
Recommendations For Adobe Connect versions 11.2.2 and earlier, update to a version that addresses this issue to prevent exploitation. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to vulnerable form fields to minimize the risk of malicious script injection.
