Description The issue is related to insufficient input validation in the MySQL Server component, specifically in the Server: GIS subcomponent. This allows a remote attacker to gain access to confidential data, compromise data integrity, and cause a denial of service. Successful attacks can result in unauthorized read, update, insert, or delete access to MySQL Server data, as well as the ability to cause a hang or crash of the server.
Recommendations For versions 8.0.25 and prior, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
