Description The issue is related to insufficient input validation in Adobe Photoshop, which can be exploited by an attacker to disclose protected information using a specially crafted file. An unauthenticated attacker could leverage this issue to disclose arbitrary memory information in the context of the current user. Exploitation requires user interaction, where a victim must open a malicious file.
Recommendations For Adobe Photoshop versions 21.2.9 and earlier, update to a version later than 21.2.9 to resolve the issue. For Adobe Photoshop versions 22.4.2 and earlier, update to a version later than 22.4.2 to resolve the issue. As a temporary workaround, consider avoiding the use of specially crafted files that could trigger the vulnerability until a patch is available.
