Description The issue is related to insufficient input validation in the Timecard component of Oracle Time and Labor, part of the Oracle E-Business Suite. This allows a low-privileged attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise Oracle Time and Labor. Successful attacks can result in unauthorized creation, deletion, or modification access to critical data or all accessible data, as well as unauthorized access to critical data.

Recommendations For versions 12.1.1 through 12.1.3, update to a version outside of this range to mitigate the risk. For versions 12.2.3 through 12.2.10, update to a version outside of this range to mitigate the risk. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the Timecard component until a patch is available. Restrict HTTP access to the Oracle Time and Labor product to minimize the risk of exploitation.
