Description The issue is related to insufficient input validation in the Loans And Deposits subcomponent of Oracle FLEXCUBE Universal Banking, part of Oracle Financial Services Applications. This allows a low-privileged attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise the system, requiring human interaction from someone other than the attacker. Successful attacks can result in unauthorized update, insert, or delete access to some data, as well as unauthorized read access to a subset of the data.

Recommendations For Oracle FLEXCUBE Universal Banking versions 12.0 through 12.4, update to a version outside of this range to mitigate the risk. For Oracle FLEXCUBE Universal Banking versions 14.0 through 14.4, update to a version outside of this range to mitigate the risk. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the Loans And Deposits subcomponent until a patch is available.
