Description
The issue exists due to insufficient input validation in the Client component of Oracle Secure Global Desktop. This allows a remote attacker to gain full control over the application via the HTTP protocol. Successful attacks require human interaction and can result in the takeover of Oracle Secure Global Desktop, potentially impacting additional products.
Recommendations
For Oracle Secure Global Desktop version 5.6, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue to prevent exploitation. As a temporary workaround, consider restricting network access to the Client component until a patch is available.
