Description
The issue exists due to insufficient input validation in the Web Access component of the Primavera P6 Enterprise Project Portfolio Management product. This allows a remote attacker with low privileges and network access via HTTP to compromise the system. Successful attacks can result in unauthorized access to modify, add, or delete data, as well as unauthorized read access to a subset of accessible data.
Recommendations
For versions 17.12.0 through 17.12.20, update to a version outside of this range to resolve the issue.
For versions 18.8.0 through 18.8.23, update to a version outside of this range to resolve the issue.
For versions 19.12.0 through 19.12.14, update to a version outside of this range to resolve the issue.
For versions 20.12.0 through 20.12.3, update to a version outside of this range to resolve the issue.
As a temporary workaround, consider restricting access to the Web Access component until a patch is available.
