Description The issue is related to insufficient input validation in the Oracle BI Publisher component of Oracle Fusion Middleware, allowing a low-privileged attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise Oracle BI Publisher. Successful attacks can result in the takeover of Oracle BI Publisher. The vulnerability can be exploited to execute arbitrary code and gain full control over the application.

Recommendations For versions 5.5.0.0.0, 11.1.1.9.0, 12.2.1.3.0, and 12.2.1.4.0, update to a version that includes the fix for this issue. At the moment, there is no information about a newer version that contains a fix for this vulnerability.
